At 1:52 today, November 26, 2006, I finished my NaNo novel, The Chain, with an official word count of 56,420. KICK ASS!! WOOOO!
kungfukitten ninja'd the win on our head-to-head competition on Friday, pulling into the lead at the last minute and leaving me in the dust. I wish I had a good excuse for this ass beating, but it turned out I had too much sake with dinner on Friday and came home and went to bed without doing any more writing. Let this be a lesson to you all on the dangers of drinking! Do NOT drink and NaNo.
All that aside, I must say it's a huge relief to have finished my novel. Now I can finish reading that 400 page book I have to write a book review on for my management class. Holy crap! Better get reading...
