Screwed
The other day I was opening a bottle of Conundrum and was using the little cap cutter tool to pull off the top of the foil. I'm cranking away trying to figure out what the hell the problem is when I take a closer look.
The bottle was a screw cap.
A screw cap? A $22 white wine is a freaking screw cap? I felt ripped off. In addition, I had destroyed the cap. Totally shredded. Therefore I had to consume the whole bottle. *sigh* It really is a great wine. If you haven't tried Conundrum (a relative of Caymus) it is well worth it. Just don't take a corkscrew to it or you'll be the one getting screwed.
