Hero

Rear Adm. Thomas R. Cullison pins the Silver Star Medal on Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Juan M. Rubio (right) during a ceremony at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, on Thursday morning. Rubio received the honor for heroism he displayed during an ambush in January 2005 in Iraq, during which
several Marines in his unit were wounded. Bleeding from the wrist and
elbow, and under enemy fire, Rubio crawled across the ground to stabilize the injured men and help move them to safety.

How come heroes like this are not making front page news? I wish people would understand that when something is started (regardless of how you feel about it) it needs to be finished. Unfinished business leads to more conflict. (Lessons from WWI and the first Gulf War.) Let's rally behind our soldiers and let them know our gratitude.
