Par-tay
Saturday night's party went pretty well. It's always nice to be complimented on your food by someone who is a much better cook :) My pico de gallo and guacamole kicked ass. The sangria was really good - drank a lot of it and still was able to get out of bed on Sunday. (Not just out of bed, but do a kung fu workout AND go for a run. Woot!)
Sangria is as follows:
2 bottles of red wine (I used Rosemount grenache/shiraz blend)
3/4 c rum
1/4 c orange flavored liquer (cointreau, grand marnier)
1/2 c brandy
1 c ginger ale
misc fruit (orange, lime, apple, pineapple)
Mix all and chill overnight. Feeds four (or two really thirsty) partiers.
