I went shooting today. In addition to the demise of 120 rounds and several targets, there was one fatality: a clothespin. Yep, I blasted the crap out of the clothespin holding up the taget. Blew it into little toothpicks. My shooting friend suggested I try for the other one. We ultimately decided that the clothespin had it coming anyway. Devious little piece of wood was cussing me the whole time.
Wine of the day: 2001 Rosemount Merlot. If you can find it, this vintage is still pretty good. The 2002 is nasty wet newspaper water. This one is pretty smooth, a little tannic at the end but I can deal with that. I would say this one has plum tones and a pleasant bouquet. For $9 it's not a bad merlot.
